By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree to use our site lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.

Our Business Model

Julian's Menswear is a registered New Zealand online retailer based in Rotorua. To offer premium menswear at competitive prices, we partner directly with specialised international manufacturing networks. Products are processed locally and shipped directly from our international manufacturing partners in China to your New Zealand or Australian address. This direct-to-consumer model eliminates unnecessary middleman costs and passes those savings directly on to you.

Products and Pricing

  • All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
  • Prices displayed include GST applicable to New Zealand customers. Australian customers are responsible for any GST, duties, or import assessments levied by the Australian Border Force.
  • We reserve the right to modify retail prices at any time without prior notice.
  • Product descriptions and images are provided in good faith. We endeavour to ensure absolute accuracy at all times.
  • In the event of a structural pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue an immediate full refund.

Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay via Shopify Payments. All transactions are processed securely with industry-standard SSL encryption. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Order Processing: 1 to 3 business days (Monday to Friday, order cut-off 3:00 PM NZST).
  • Transit Delivery: 10 to 15 business days (Monday to Friday).
  • Total Delivery: 8 to 18 business days from the moment your order is placed.
  • Shipping Rate: A flat-rate tracked shipping fee of NZ$15.00 applies to all New Zealand and Australian shipments.
  • Destinations: We ship to physical addresses within New Zealand and Australia.
  • Tracking: End-to-end shipping tracking numbers are supplied for every order.
  • Fulfilment Origin: Orders are dispatched from our verified international centres in Shenzhen/Guangzhou, China.

Returns and Refunds

We offer a transparent 30-day return policy from the confirmed carrier delivery date. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original retail condition with all clothing tags firmly attached. All physical package returns — including those from Australian customers — must be shipped to our central New Zealand administrative base for inspection. For change of mind or size adjustments, return courier costs are the responsibility of the customer. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and graphics, is the property of Julian's Menswear or our licensors and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright laws. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited without explicit written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Julian's Menswear is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total financial liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer Guarantees — New Zealand

Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If a product is faulty, not fit for its intended purpose, or does not match its description, you are fully entitled to a complete repair, replacement, or refund under New Zealand law.

Consumer Guarantees — Australia

If you are an Australian customer, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Competition and Consumer Act 2010. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in these Terms limits, alters, or excludes your rights under the ACL.

Privacy

Your use of our website is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. Australian customers retain all rights available to them under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded by this clause.
